Larry Krotz Writes Trinity College School’s 150th Anniversary Book in Partnership With Echo Memoirs
CWG writer Larry Krotz is the author behind the soon-to-be-released Hearts & Minds: 150 Years of Trinity College School, a historical book celebrating the school’s 150th anniversary.
For this project, Krotz worked tirelessly for over two years to gather historical documents, conduct interviews, and create a narrative that highlights the glorious 150-year history of this independent, co-educational school in Port Hope, Ontario.
For Hearts & Minds, Krotz spoke to over 50 people, including current students and employees, as well as alumni from across North America. Krotz also featured pictures, exclusive archival material, and even sat in on classes at TCS to better understand the school for its 250-page anniversary volume. Krotz also collaborated with a committee at TCS to ensure the school’s legacy was accurately represented.
To make this book come to life, Krotz worked in partnership with the team at Echo Memoirs (soon to be re-named Echo Storytelling Agency), who offered editorial guidance and support during the project.
Echo Memoirs President Samantha Reynolds was thrilled with Krotz’s work on the book, saying, “Larry was a delight to work with on the TCS book. He forged an immediate bond with the client and everyone he interviewed. He delivered on time and put tremendous heart into getting it right. TCS is thrilled with their 150th anniversary book and much of the credit goes to Larry for helping to capture so many engaging, original stories.”
Hearts & Minds: 150 Years of Trinity College School is currently available for pre-order on the school’s website. A short excerpt is also available. The book will be officially launched during on-campus events on May 1st, as well as at the 150th Anniversary Gala on May 2nd at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto.
